Hogwarts wall hanging /back of my PoD?

So I stumbled across Owlsea's Harry Potter Castle Quilt (isn't it GORGEOUS?)

and she'd posted this new large (36x36") Hogwarts Crest pattern for testing and I couldn't resist.

So I went and picked out fabric (one of the best parts of the process)

It took a bit - and it was really a challenge, but I finally got it done!   I'm happy with it.  I think it will be spectacular on the back of my PoD.  Title was painted using Matte tulip fabric paint.

The Original PoD - All Sewn Up

Always a crafter, I turned to quilting after I finished my Master's program and needed to fill the empty hours I had been using to study.  My very first project was a quilt I saw on Pinterest Harry Potter themed - AKA the Project of Doom (PoD).  I quickly picked up the paper piecing methods and by years end had made 3 full-size quilts!!!  It has replaced my other crafting loves like scrapbooking, card making, and other DIY crafty goodness.  This year the PoD was revamped with a dark arts theme so I find myself making yet another!    I also put together the Hogwarts school crest for the back of my first HP quilt!!  Awesomeness!
